It may look drab but all around life is getting ready for the spring. Already if you look closely daffodils and crocuses are peeping through the ground. The squirrels are busy playing in the churchyard and foxes come though at night whilst the owls hoot. Luckily there are no leaves on the trees so the recent winds haven't caused any damage. It will be interesting to see how soon the daffodils appear this year with the changing climate, they were very early last year.
